I’m a writer and academic living on Gadigal Country.
My novel-in-stories Thanks for Having Me is published by JOAN, an imprint of Allen & Unwin, curated by Nakkiah Lui. Thanks for Having Me is the winner of the 2024 Readings New Australian Fiction Prize.
My work has appeared in various publications, including Cordite, TEXT, Westerly, Meniscus, Swim Meet Lit Mag, The Suburban Review, and The Big Issue Fiction Edition.

In 2022, I completed my PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Wollongong.
My thesis, ‘The Short Story Cycle in the Twenty-First Century’, received the Examiners’ Commendation for Outstanding Thesis. You can download and read my dissertation here.

Teaching
I have been a sessional academic at the University of Wollongong since 2019. I teach across the Creative Arts into theoretical subjects that develop students' critical thinking and academic writing skills, into practical subjects that assist students in envisioning their post-university careers, and into studio subjects that teach the craft and artistry of creative writing.
