Manuscript Assessment
A manuscript assessment involves a close reading, light copyediting, and a feedback summary of your work and is suitable for writers who have finished their first, or subsequent, draft/s. I’ll identify your strengths and where you need to improve, and I’ll give feedback designed to increase your chances of publication. I’ll be looking at things like structure and plot, story, voice, and characterisation. Using Word’s comment feature, I give a commentary of my reading experience, and ask questions or make suggestions at the line level. Using track changes, I’ll make minor spelling and grammar corrections.

Mentoring
Mentoring is for writers who are looking to build their writing practice or who have a work-in-progress and need a little extra help. Mentoring can take place over several months and will involve regular feedback sessions and meeting one-on-one (on Zoom, over the phone, or in-person if possible!).
